WebTop100: 3rd Place for Balistas
After a few years, we entered the project into the prestigious WebTop100 competition, and we're thrilled. Balistas making the podium among the big B2C e-shops is fantastic — and it comes with expectations to live up to.

I'm really happy about this partnership with an awesome client who's open to new ideas. Together we keep pushing the project forward, and their customers are the ones who benefit most.

Superkoders
on the big screen
Whenever I go to a conference, meetup, or similar event, it makes me happy when we somehow end up on the big screen. (And I don't mean a logo showing up thanks to paid advertising.)
Because we collaborate on so many projects with various specialists, freelancers, and agencies, it often happens that projects we've developed end up in presentations and demos. This time, too, a project we worked on made it onto the big screen — completely unexpectedly for me. So congratulations to Robert Sládek and his project Vitapack, which took second place in the Small B2C E-Shop category.
Congratulations also go to our friends from Brno — to Honza Polzer from LESENSKY.CZ, who won the UX award for what, in the words of presenter Ondřej Ilinčev, was “not exactly pretty, but functional” website for the Brno Public Transit Company, to Proficio for their performance campaign for Showmax, and to Futured for the National Museum's mobile app.
There's An AI
For That
Besides the awards ceremony, the conference also had a pretty interesting program. I learned about working with influencers in a talk by Andrea Hurychová. I also discovered a really interesting project, Měníme osnovy, which Tomáš Jindřišek from DARK SIDE talked about. He also presented an inspiring way of collaborating on similar types of projects.
Lukáš Havlásek from Notino came to convince us that a mobile app for an e-shop makes sense. Thanks to that, we're already thinking about how we'll put that insight into practice. And also what ASO actually means. And I can't forget Irča Zatloukalová and her talk on LinkedIn.
And as a bonus, here's my “takeaway” from the morning panel discussion. There's An AI For That.

Personality
of Czech
digital
Petra Dolejšová was, as always, brilliant. She has a genuine talent for presenting a topic that would normally give you a headache in a way that leaves you walking away from the talk satisfied. I was really amused when she took a jab at the mostly marketing-heavy audience — “When you copy someone, it's inspiration. When someone copies you, it's theft.”
Congratulations to Petra on the title of Personality of Czech Digital 2023.
