PHP Developer: Web & Operations

You'll become part of our Web & Operations team, which handles website development and takes care of key, long-term clients. Your job will be to build brand websites and continuously improve online stores and applications to help them gain a stronger position in the market.

• Developing and deploying our CMS and integrating it with third-party systems.
• Writing and maintaining APIs for various integrations.
• Collaborating on the architecture and strategy for further development of existing projects.

You'll work in a small, independent team with its own team lead for technical guidance and mentoring. Tasks and priorities are assigned by a project manager through Jira, and you'll sync up together at a weekly team meeting.

We build our projects on Docker, and all code is deployed automatically to our own infrastructure. Once a task is finished and properly tested, you simply hand it over to the project manager for review.

You'll also collaborate on tasks with frontend developers who are part of the team and handle the entire UI (HTML, CSS), so you won't have to deal with that.

Every two weeks, you'll also meet with other backend developers from different teams at a technical meeting. We discuss insights across projects, share know-how, and talk about new topics — lately mostly AI and code reusability.

• You have at least 3 years of experience in PHP and experience with Nette (or another modern framework).
• You're comfortable with SQL and have practical experience with ORM.
• You work with Git on a daily basis.
• You're a team player, but you can also take ownership of tasks independently.
• You see things through — your code is clean, tested, and written with the end user in mind.
• You stay up to date, enjoy learning, and like finding solutions where others don't see them.
• If something can run automatically, you won't do it by hand.
