How we build breathtaking design websites with the creative agency Madlove

Working together since 2017
We first crossed paths with the creative agency Madlove in 2017, on a project for a multi-sector developer — Crestyl. At the time, they were preparing the Neugraf (Nová Grafická) development project — a one-of-a-kind “neighborhood within a neighborhood” project in Prague's Smíchov district. Madlove approached it in an innovative way, starting with a teaser that drew in prospective residents interested in the new building complex. Together, we then built an interactive website where prospective buyers could see what the Neugraf complex would look like. We let potential residents take a virtual walk through Nová Grafická.
Neugraf was where we tried out what it's like working with Superkoders, and ever since, they're the only ones we want building design-heavy websites with. At Madlove, we're graphic designers first and foremost, with a fairly specific vision of what the end result should look like. Superkoders helps us bring that creative vision to life. They're not developers who just fulfill a client's brief — they have a genuine feel for creative work themselves. Working with them is truly collaborative — it's not just handing off project tasks.
Interactive animation and other development challenges
Madlove are creatives through and through — they have fresh ideas and a genuinely original take on visuals. At Superkoders, we love that we get to turn their creative thinking into breathtaking websites — and we mean that without exaggeration.
Right from the Neugraf project, we faced a tough challenge: letting visitors view any apartment in the entire building complex on the website. Visitors pick an apartment, click on it, and the site displays it in a striking animation. You could say we brought the housing complex's visualization to life — the visuals themselves came from Madlove and consist of roughly 150 images.

By now, only a handful of apartments are still available at Neugraf, but there were dozens when we first launched the site — and we managed to showcase every single one with animation.
I sometimes say we're the creative developers at Superkoders. We enjoy not just building static websites, but the creative side too — I'd say that's what really sets us apart from other developers. We genuinely enjoy working with Madlove.
Since our first successful project with Neugraf, we've built a series of other real estate websites with Madlove for the developer Crestyl. In every case, these are luxury property listings with a great location, architecture, and level of service. The visual side of the websites has to match that — the sites we build for Crestyl are interactive, packed with intricate graphic elements, animations, and video.
We also built a website directly for Crestyl. It has one large presentation video playing in the background of the homepage and is woven through with interactive animations. Transitions between pages are animated, and the site's background gains depth thanks to a parallax effect (a graphic technique where the image beneath the text on the page moves).
How our collaboration with the creative agency works
Since 2017, we've developed a really well-honed process and know-how with Madlove. We can now build a design-heavy website in around a month and a half — an absolutely record pace for websites this complex.
Madlove treats us as a true partner, so we're involved right from the start — the moment Madlove has a rough visual concept and needs the collaborative work priced out for the client.
The unique animated websites we build with Madlove usually aren't easy to price — a qualified estimate can sometimes feel a lot like gazing thoughtfully at the stars. Luckily, that's no longer the case for our work with Madlove, since we can now draw on experience from past projects. That's one of the many advantages of a long-term partnership.
It's completely normal for a project to keep changing shape on us along the way. Developers want the site ready as soon as possible so they can start attracting interested buyers, so we often publish the first version of the site at a point when the development project itself isn't finalized yet. Then it turns out something needs adjusting — say, repainting the building's facade at the request of a heritage preservation office. That might sound like a minor tweak, but given how many visual elements these sites have, it really isn't.
Another reason we keep making adjustments to the sites is the state of the real estate market. In buildings where only a handful of units are left, for example, we'll shift the presentation angle to help drive sales of the last few units.

The tools we use
- We receive materials from Madlove in a format for Adobe XD or Figma.
- We handle project management and communication through Basecamp.
- For managing the development itself, we use Jira.
Admin system and ERP integration for the client
With Madlove, we let creativity run free and push the boundaries of what's possible in web design. But we always keep in mind that a website has to be not just beautiful, but also functional and user-friendly. At the same time, a lot of technical detail has to make its way in. In this case, it was more efficient to work through the technical side directly with the client — the developer, Crestyl.
For Crestyl's websites, we build with a custom admin system connected to their ERP. Thanks to the content management system, Crestyl doesn't need to come back to us every time an apartment sells or a price changes — a great example of this is the current Hagibor project, where the listings change very dynamically.

Shared values and causes
For a collaboration as extensive and long-running as the one we have with Madlove, it also matters that we click as people, share the same values and have similar views on broader societal issues. Our other joint venture illustrates that well — our partnership with the Asociace společenské odpovědnosti (Association of Social Responsibility), where we're both partners.
I really enjoy the social impact of it. We do some projects for the Association for just a symbolic fee, or completely pro bono. We don't mind, because we see real purpose in their work. It all lines up with our values and with how we believe a modern society should work.
The Association of Social Responsibility's website is very sprawling and extensive, with thousands of subpages. Most of them feature playful graphics, often with animated elements. For the page presenting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we enhanced the image for each goal with a parallax effect.

Developers and creatives coexisting in perfect symbiosis
For every website we build with Madlove, Superkoders handles the whole service package. We take care of:
- coding HTML templates (including extensive animations),
- connecting to the admin system or the client's ERP,
- hosting,
- launch,
- website maintenance.
How does the client rate our collaboration?
We're graphic perfectionists, and Superkoders gets that — they really tune into what we need. On top of that, they always think about how to make the site deliver the best possible user experience. They'll even suggest on their own how the site should behave across different devices — for instance, when it makes sense to turn off certain features because a device couldn't render them well, or because they'd be distracting for the visitor. Superkoders brings our creative vision to life.
